About the Role
DevDinos is looking for a motivated Junior Mobile Developer to join our engineering team and contribute to the development of modern, reliable, and user-friendly mobile applications.
In this role, you will work alongside experienced developers and designers to build, maintain, and improve Android and iOS applications. You will gain hands-on experience with mobile development technologies while contributing to real-world software products and client projects.
We are looking for someone with solid programming fundamentals, attention to detail, and a strong willingness to learn and grow professionally.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, test, and maintain mobile applications for Android and iOS.
Implement responsive and intuitive mobile interfaces based on provided designs.
Integrate RESTful APIs and backend services into mobile applications.
Assist in implementing authentication, navigation, state management, and local storage.
Identify, debug, and resolve application issues with guidance from senior developers.
Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following established development standards.
Collaborate with designers and backend developers to implement application features.
Participate in code reviews and apply feedback to improve code quality.
Assist with application testing, performance improvements, and release preparation.
Stay updated with mobile development technologies and best practices.
Required Qualifications
2-3 years of experience in mobile application development, including substantial internship or project experience.
Proficiency in at least one mobile development framework or technology, such as React Native, Flutter, Kotlin, or Swift.
Good understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, Dart, Kotlin, or Swift, depending on the chosen technology.
Basic knowledge of mobile application architecture and component-based development.
Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and backend integration.
Understanding of mobile navigation, state management, and application lifecycle concepts.
Experience using Git and GitHub.
Basic debugging and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate and learn.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing personal, academic, or professional mobile applications.
Familiarity with Firebase, push notifications, or local databases.
Basic understanding of Google Play Store and Apple App Store publishing processes.
Experience with mobile UI libraries and responsive layouts.
Familiarity with application testing and debugging tools.
Understanding of mobile performance optimisation and security fundamentals.
